International Outreach
Improving Health around the World
Be Healthy, Inc. created an international program to provide education and health care for residents of economically disadvantaged countries around the world where public health issues prevail. BodyTalk began in Latin America with Brazil in 2003 and continued with Africa in 2007 and Philippines in 2009.

Brazilian Outreach

• Translation of all teaching and promotional BodyTalk material from English to Portuguese.
• Funded BodyTalk seminars in Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and São Paulo.
• Due to our seminars, Professional medical personnel, doctors, massage therapists, nurses, chiropractors, psychologists, and acupuncturists are now practicing BodyTalk in private and community based settings.
• BodyTalk is now arecognized modality of healthcare in Brazil with many certified BodyTalk professionals.
• Continued goal is to train Brazilian BodyTalk instructors. The new ACCESS teachers are attentive to the needs of the low-income and favela communities. Two BodyTalk ACCESS trainers were certified in 2008.

Latin America Outreach

• Translation of all teaching and promotional BodyTalk material from English Spanish.
• Distribution of BodyTalk informational material to South America.

SOUTH AFRICA

• Janet Galipo of Be Healthy, Inc. traveled to South Africa in March of 2007 to train a total of 80 healthcare and government workers in the BodyTalk Access techniques. In addition, scholarships for Modules 1 & 2 trainings were donated by Be Healthy, Inc. to South African workers who will be using BodyTalk health care techniques in Johannesburg and other the South African cities and townships.
